Autumn: Are you interviewing for the position?
Tom: Oh, yeah why? Are you?
Autumn: Yeah.
Tom: My competition.
Autumn: It would appear.
Tom: Yeah. So, a little awkward.
Autumn: Yeah.
Tom: Well, I hope you, um, don’t get the job.
Autumn: Well, I hope you don’t get the job. Have I seen you before?
Tom: Me? Don’t think so.
Autumn: Do you ever go to Angeus Paza?
Tom: Yes, that’s like, my favorite spot in the city.
Autumn: Yeah. Okay. Except for the parking lots, but…
Tom: Yeah, I agree.
Autumn: Yeah, yeah. I think I’ve seen you there.
Tom: Really?
Autumn: Yeah.
Tom: I haven’t seen you.
Autumn: You must not have been looking.
Voice-over: If Tom had learned anything, it was that you can’t ascribe great cosmic significance to a simple earthly event. Coincidence, that’s all anything ever is. Nothing more than coincidence.
Interviewer: Tom Hansen.
Tom: Yeah.
Interviewer: Come on back.
Tom: Thank you.
Voice-over: Tom had finally learned there are no miracles. There’s no such thing as fate. Nothing is meant to be. He knew. He was sure of it now. Tom was…
Tom: Sorry. Um…I just left, uh…Can…one second.
Voice-over: He was pretty sure.
Tom: Hey.
Autumn: You again.
Tom: Yeah, I was just wondering if maybe after this, if, you…you want to get some coffee or something?
Autumn: Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sort of supposed to meet someone after this.
Tom: Okay.
Autumn: Sure.
Tom: What’s that?
Autumn: Why not?
Tom: Okay, well, then I just, I’ll wait for you…
Autumn: We…we’ll figure it out.
Tom: We’ll figure it out. My name’s Tom.
Autumn: Nice to meet you, I’m Autumn.
