Harry : I've been doin' a lot of thinkin' and the thing is, I love you.
Sally: What?
Harry : I love you.
Sally: How d'you expect me to respond to this?
Harry : How about you love me, too?
Sally: How about I'm leaving?
Harry : Doesn't what I said mean anything?
Sally: Sorry, Harry. I know it's New Year's Eve. I know you're feeling lonely. But you just can't show up, say you love me and expect that to make it all right. It doesn't work this way.

And it's not because I'm lonely or because it's New Year's Eve.
I came cos when you realise you wanna spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
Sally: You see? That is just like you, Harry. You say things like that and you make it impossible for me to hate you! And I hate you, Harry. I really hate you. I hate you.
在doing a lot of thinking，做了相当一番思考之后，Charlie向Sally表白了自己的感情，但突如其来的爱让Sally一时无法接受，情急的Charlie说Doesn't what I said mean anything? 在之前的两部电影里都有类似这样的否定一般疑问句出现。它的作用是强调和烘托感情。这里我们不再多说。Sally对这句话得反应是，可能因为过节，格外觉得孤单，导致Harry说出了言不由衷的话。但不管怎么说不能expect that to make it all right? 指望一切问题都不存在，一切都变好。make something all right，让某事变得顺利，变好。例如：I'm gonna make it all right, but not right now ! 我会让这一切转好，但不是现在！再比如：Love makes everything all right. 爱让一切都对劲儿了。

And I love that you are the last person I wanna talk to before I go to sleep at night. 我喜欢你是睡前最后一个我想和她谈话的人。最后的最后，这一切都不是因为节日的缘故，而是因为wanna spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible 想和某个人共度余生，并且希望这样的生活能马上开始。As soon as possilbe尽可能快地。
面对这样一番表白，难怪Sally能说的就是that is just like you. 这就是你。你就是这个样子。说了这样的话，让人无法继续痛恨。
虽然本段中并没有Will you marry me? Will you be my wife，但三个月后两个人结婚了，从此live happily ever afer. 也许这种情节套路没什么新意，但生动诙谐的剧本、令人耳目一新的导演风格以及Crystal和瑞恩Ryan之间默契的配合使这部电影成为八十年代最优秀的爱情喜剧片之一。好了。我们的求婚之旅就告一段落吧。影音时尚口语下一个系列等着您。
