1.Venture capital (noun) Money available to invest in a new business 风险资本

如：Venture capital is exciting because it’s risky; you don’t know for sure that a business will be successful
风险投资因为其存在的风险性，让人为之振奋，到那时不能保证事情一定可以成功。

2.Human Resources (noun) The people employed in a company 人力资源

如：The Human Resources department is recruiting three new secretaries
人事部招了3个新员工。

3.A vacancy (noun) An unoccupied place, for example in a place of work 空缺

如：There’s a vacancy for a chef in the restaurant where I work; why don’t you apply?
我工作的饭店，现在正在招聘厨师，你干嘛不试试？

4.To run (verb) To be in charge of something 管理

如：I think I could run the company better than my boss!
我觉得我比我们老板更会管理公司。

5. A nightmare (noun) A bad dream 噩梦

如：I had a terrible nightmare last night; I woke up crying
我昨晚做了个噩梦，醒了之后就哭了起来。

6. Stock (noun) A supply of goods waiting to be sold 存货

如：We need to build up more stock; we sold nearly everything yesterday
我们接下来要进更多的货，我们的东西都差不多卖完了。
