M: I just received a letter from Jack, oneof my old buddies from college.
W: That‘s nice! It‘s amazing that you‘rekeeping in touch with each other for so many years after graduating fromcollege.
M: Yes, we are always in contact with eachother. But I haven‘t seen him for ages.
W: What did Jack say in his letter?
M: He said that they moved to Pennsylvania lastmonth. Jack got a promotion recently. Now, he is a sales director.
W: He is always lucky.
M: Yes, he is, but he is always diligent inhis work too. What‘s more, his oldest son is going to the University ofPennsylvania.
W: Ah! It‘s the university you graduatedfrom, isn‘t it?
M: Absolutely right. I thought of mycollege life when I learned that his son would study in the University ofPennsylvanian. Well, in his letter he is inviting us to have a get-togetherwith most of our old friends from college.
W: Really? That‘s good news. To be frank,I‘ve been out of touch with most of my old friends. Only one or two keep meinformed about what they are doing.
M: I know. It‘s really hard to maintaincontact when they move around so much.
W:That‘s right. But you‘re lucky to be in touch with your buddies for so manyyears.
