Although "Don't judge a book by its cover" is an old proverb widely acknowledged, people still fall into the trap of "good appearances" easily. We are living in a world full of temptations, one of which is "good appearances".
Due to the lack of experience and determined will, a host of people cannot distinguish right from wrong, thus making wrong decisions by only considering the beautiful appearances. Currently, there is an increase in the number of youngsters who are crazy about South Korean stars. The fans care nothing but the appearances of the stars. As a result, more and more young people place much emphasis upon appearances rather than other important qualities, such as honesty and loyalty. This can eventually result in distorted self-value, so we should value one's true qualities instead of the appearance.
From what we have discussed above, we can safely come to the conclusion that it is unwise to judge people only by their appearances. We people as a whole should cultivate correct attitudes towards beauty. Only in this way can we have a promising future!
