dialogue 1
W: Good morning, Sir.
M: Good morning.I'm with the Trans-Canada holiday.
W: Ah, yes. If you'd like to fill in this form here, please.
M: Sure.
W: There is a tour organized this morning and an excursion to the CN Tower this afternoon. The bus will pick you up at ten o'clock.
M: Er, I know this is unusual, but after the long flight I'd prefer not to go on with the group. Is it all right if I just go off on my own a bit later?
W: Yes, of course, that's no problem... Here's your key, sir, Room 509.
M: Thank you. When can I get in touch with the tour guide, please?
W: I'm afraid she won't be here till about ten o'clock... Will you be having lunch in the hotel, sir?
M: Er, no thanks, I think I'll have a lie down before I go out and have a look around. Could you possibly give me a map of the city, please?
W: Certainly, sir.
