(1)What happened?
发生了什么事？还可以说：What' wrong?/What's the matter?/What's up?
(2)So…what do you think of him?
你觉得他怎么样？怎么也算是相亲回来了，问一下对对方的感觉是很正常的。如果以后你有朋友让别人参考，也可以问一下这一句。
(3)He's very nice.
这是对一个人表示称赞的话。前面还说了一句：He's a good father.Nice这个词在英语中用的很多，天气，食物，心情，人，能够形容为“好”的基本上都可以说nice.
(4)You ordered enough for three or four people, but I'm not complaining.
I'm not complaining.我不在意。用在非正式场合。还可以说：It's not a problem for me./I don't mind./It doesn't matter for me.
(5)You won't believe it,Marilyn!
你简直无法相信。You can't imagine it./It's incredible!/It's marvelous!
(6)Aren't you hungry?=You must be hungry. 你一定饿了吧？
(7)As a matter of fact……I am hungry.
As a matter of fact事实上。相当于It's true…/right./In fact./Actually.
(8)Is there anyone else in your life?
你生活中还有别的女人吗？= Do you have a special woman or girlfriend in your life?
(9)I never liked that umbrella stand.
我一直不大喜欢那个伞架。如果有人不小心碰倒或摔坏了我们的东西，我们常讲：I never liked it或I never liked it anyway. 为的是让对方不感到太尴尬。如果客人吃饭时摔了盘子，我们可以说：I never liked that dish anyway。
