Bryan: Danoje Festival has been declared by UNESCO a cultural heritage of South Korea. Many Chinese netizens have expressed their frustration at the news.

Bryan: Because many traditional festivals observed in South Korea are so much alike with Chinese ones, like Seollal, Daeboreum, and Danoje Festival. Chinese people think they also have a claim on these festivals.
布莱恩：因为韩国的许多传统节日和中国的极为相似，比如春节，元宵节和端午祭，所以中国人觉得他们也拥有这些节日的所有权。
Portia: I don't see that should be any problem. These festivals are the heritage from an agrarian past, and both countries could well observe the same festivals.
鲍西亚：我不觉得这是个问题啊。传统节日是过去农耕社会遗留下来的，两个国家都可以过一样的节日。
Bryan: You have a point. I think both countries must have influenced each other.

Portia: Besides, the Danoje Festival is not altogether the same with the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. We can still celebrate it as we like.
