2.pamper：娇养；娇宠；迁就
She pampers her husband, lavishing him with care and attention.

3.jump all over：[口]叱责
If you're late again, she's going to jump all over you.
你要是再迟到，她就要对你厉声叱责的。
4.jump down sb.'s throat：[俚]使某人无话可说；驳得某人哑口无言
Don't try to blame the manager for any wrongdoing, or he'll jump down your throat and accuse you of slander.
别想指控经理犯有任何过错，不然他会反过来指责你诽谤而叫你哑口无言。
5.take upon oneself：承担；毅然；大胆
The honest man never shifts (推卸) blame (pass the buck) but tries to take the consequences upon himself.
