Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet turns 39 on October 5th, while star-maker Simon Cowell celebrates his 55th birthday on October 7th. Matt Damon turns 44 on October 8th and Hugh Jackman reaches 46 on October 12th. Detroit-based rapper Eminem hits 42 on October 17th and Kim Kardashian caps off a good year on October 21st, when the reality star turns 34. Actress Julia Roberts will blow out 47 candles on the 28th and "Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson will celebrate his 53rd birthday on the last day of the month: Halloween.
