China's stock market sees 1.4 mln new investors

Fresh data shows that China's red-hot stock market is still attracting more than a million new investors each week despite increasing market volatility.
That's while margin debt continues to reach record levels. Data shows that 1.4 million new investors opened stock accounts last week.
The data also shows a daily average of 3.1 trillion yuan sitting in investors' accounts that could be used to buy stocks or subscribe to initial public offerings.
Analysts say the expansion reflects more fresh money flowing into China's stock markets.
