1. have a good time：玩得开心，过得愉快

e.g. While we're waiting we can have a good time on this island.

咱们在岛上等的时候可以玩个痛快。

e.g. I hope you will have a good time during your stay in China.

我希望你在中国逗留期间过得愉快。

2. not really：不完全是，不见得

e.g. He' s not really angry he' s just acting the stern father .

他倒不是真生气--只是装装严父的样子罢了。

e.g. The movies flatter him but he's not really that handsome.

电影使他显得漂亮，但是他实际上没有那么英俊。

3. smell a rat：感到不妙，发现可疑之处

e.g. Didn't you smell a rat when they agreed to sell you the goods at such a price?

当他们同意把那批货以那样的价格卖给你的时候,难道你没有感到有些可疑吗?

e.g. If there is any substantial number of genuine agents there, the Abwehr will smell a rat.

如果真有几个名符其实的间谍在这里，德国情报机关就会感到可疑了。

4. not at all：一点也不，根本就没

e.g. He was not at all nervous, for he knew what to expect.

e.g. She' s not at all a proper person for you to know.

e.g. I' m not at all satisfied with the present situation.

我对现状一点也不满足。

e.g. The boy is not at all shy with them.

这孩子和他们在一起一点也不害羞。

5. play the field：滥交情人，对感情不专一，玩弄感情

e.g. He preferred play the field to go steady.

比起爱情专一来说，他更喜欢到处拈花惹草。

e.g. Mary will get in trouble one day if she goes on playing the field.

玛丽如果继续滥交情人的话，她终有一天会惹上是非的。
