短语come into possession of指(人)占有〔获得〕某物,以人为主语;而come into the possession of(物)为人所有,占有,以物为主语。例如:

When did he come into possession of those books?

他什么时候得到那些书的?

When did this books come into the possession of him?

这些书什么时候被他得到的?

紫丁香花现已落令,所以售价如此昂贵。

③season to适应

He was seasoned to the hard life.

他过惯了艰苦的生活。

④season with给…加调料；添加…使更有趣〔生动〕

He likes to eat mutton which was seasoned with garlic.

他喜欢吃用大蒜调味的羊肉。

He seasoned his lecture with pleasant anecdotes.
