Amanohashidate, a roughly translates to bridge in heaven

So, many say it looks like a pathway between heaven and earth

The sandbar can be viewed anywhere on the top of the mountain
在山上的任何地方都可以看到那个沙洲
However this place here is the best place to view it

But wait wait what what are they doing, just what exactly are they gonna do

This is called Matanozoki and this practice originated at this park

and visitors have been following it for over a millennium
有史以来游客们一直都遵从了这一传统
If you do this, the sea is above and the sky is below
这样做的话，海就在天空的上面
which makes the sandbar appear to be a bridge over heaven

Another fun thing you could do here is throwing mini plates into this ring here to get your wish to come true

and there were some shops on the way which sold a lot of street food

A speciality in Miazi is the black chikuwa
这里有一种特产叫黑鱼糕
Most chikuwa found in supermarkets are white, so I decided to ask what the difference was

Apparently this area is famous for this
显然，这个地方有名的就是这个啦

It doesn't have, doesn't have such a fishy taste

but it's a little bit more like toufu, like fried toufu

They are really cute like this.

this place is a great get away from the crowd and definitely a favorite place of mine in Kyoto

You guys know what I love about summer is that you come to the beach
你们知道吗，夏天我最喜欢的就是来沙滩
but there is a game called siikawali where you have a watermelon and you're blindfolded
然后，有一种游戏叫切西瓜，放一个西瓜，然后蒙上你的眼
and you have to try, try and like walk towards it, and like wack it
你要试着朝着西瓜走过去，然后把它劈开
and after that you share the watermelon with everyone
劈开之后就跟大家一起分享。
