声音简介：霉霉新专Evermore来啦！同名曲Evermore讲了什么？

没想到今年又等来了Taylor Swift第二个专辑，隔离在家的霉霉真是高产啊~

专辑名字叫Evermore，是上一个专辑Folklore的姐妹篇。今天我们就来聊聊专辑同名歌Evermore。

Many people may feel very familiar with this song as it sounds quite similar to Exile in Taylor’s last album Folklore.

And the composers are also the same. They are Taylor Swift, Justin Vernon, who sang the male vocal part, and William Bowery.

很多人可能觉得这首歌听起来很像霉霉上一张专辑的Exile，确实是它的姐妹篇。

而且词曲作者也都一样，是霉霉本人，Justin Vernon唱很有磁性的男声部分，还有个William Bowery。

这个William Bowery出现过霉霉很多歌曲的创作者中，却一直不见其人。

后来霉霉在今年拍的纪录片Folklore: the long pond studio sessions里面才透露

其实这个人就是她的男朋友Joe Alwyn。也太甜了吧。

Taylor says Joe plays piano beautifully and he’s always just playing and making things up and kind of creating things, and Exile was crazy cause Joe had written the entire piano part.

Joe钢琴弹得很好，这首Evermore的整个钢琴部分都是Joe创作的，

还有男声部分也是他写的。

The lyrics are quite sad and depressing:

歌词很伤感。其实是接的上一首Exile里面的剧情。

在Exile里，Taylor和Justin的对话是：

亲爱的 我看见你

With his arms around your body

靠在他的怀里

Laughing but the joke’s not funny at all

应和着无聊的玩笑

And it took you five whole minutes

你花了五分钟整理感情

To pack us up and leave me with it

把余下一切都留给了我

让我独自坚持不愿放弃

I think I’ve seen this film before

这一幕似曾相识

And I didn’t like the ending

这结局难以释怀

So in Exile, we can see that they sing about former lovers who have a chance meeting, and they exchange different points of view.

The woman is now dating with another man and the guy expresses his dismay at how quickly she has moved on.

The woman tells the guy she gave him numerous warning signs to change his behavior, but he failed to receive them.

Their reunion didn't work out and now they are in "exile" from one another.

Exile唱的是他们俩互相逃离彼此。

曾经是爱人的男女重遇，

男生抱怨女生那么快就有了新欢。

女生说自己已经给了很多次warning signs警示。

这个warning sign，从Evermore里女生唱的内容可以大概猜出来是什么。

On the very moment, all was lost

在那一刻 我一无所有的那一刻

Sending signals

发出微弱的信号

To be double-crossed

我被人背叛的信号

And I was catching my breath

我曾屏住呼吸

所以其实当时女生也是发现了自己被背叛才心灰意冷的。

他们俩也都没有沟通好，彼此都get不到对方的warning signs，现在也已经回不去了。

不过还好这首歌估计不是Taylor亲身经历的事，

她这两张专辑跟之前大多数第一人称的歌词不太一样，多用的是第三人称，

比较像是旁观者的角度。

Taylor also explained in her documentary that early in quarantine, she started watching lots of movies and reading books everyday.

This reminds her that consuming other people's storytelling opened this portal in her imagination and made she feel like,

“Why have I never created characters and intersecting storylines?"

[ intersect: v.相交; 交叉 ]

Taylor在纪录片里说隔离期自己看了很多电影和书，提醒了她为什么不能从第三方的视角、甚至是多线发展。

（就像上张专辑交织剧情的abc, august, betty 和cardigan三首歌讲的就是同一个故事。

所以这次她也开始像作者一样创作人物，

表述的情感同样引起了很多人的共鸣。
