It's important to know the difference between these two.
知道这两个发音的区别是很重要的。
Mixing them can change a word's meaning: done, dawn, but, bought.
搞混这两个音可以改变一个单词的含义：done/倒e/、dawn/半圆o/、but/倒e/、bought/半圆o/。
In the previous videos, I described /倒e/ as the sound of fun, and /半圆o/ as the sound of laws.
在之前的视频中，我提到/倒e/是有趣的声音，/半圆o/是法律的声音。
Let's talk about that more.
我们来进一步讨论一下这个问题。
For the /倒e/ sound, your lips and tongue are relaxed as if they are having fun. fun, fun.
发/倒e/音时，你的嘴唇和舌头是放松的，好像他们玩得很开心似的。
With the /半圆o/ sound, your lips have a slight oval shape, and your tongue is slightly tense.
发/半圆o/的音时，你的嘴唇有轻微的椭圆形，你的舌头有轻微的紧绷感。
The biggest difference is in the tongue position.
最大的区别就是舌头的位置。
For /倒e/, it is in the middle of your mouth.
发/倒e/音时，舌头在嘴巴的中间位置。
For /半圆o/, it is in the back of your mouth.
发/半圆o/音时，舌头在嘴巴的后部。
I'll give you some more examples.
