Key Georgia midterm races have already made history.

For the first time in Georgia, two black candidates, Republican Herschel Walker and Democrat incumbent Raphael Warnock are vying for the same Senate seat.

If activist Stacey Abrams, beats Republican, Brian Kemp, she will become the first Black woman governor in America.

So the thing I want to stress is that for either Stacey Abrams or Senator Raphael Warnock, the key to their win is going to be turning out Black voters.

At about 48%, Black voters now make up nearly half of the voting electorate in Georgia, according to Pew Research.

The majority, close to 74%, are registered as Democrats.

And it is of course very interesting that suddenly we have two Black candidates for the Senate.

And Herschel Walker certainly hasn't presented himself, who is as someone whose priority, um, or even his main line is going to be to focus on Black voters.

Black voter turnout, especially among Black men, is crucial to win Georgia.

And so it is a constituency that has an independence about it, as many others do.

And as I've heard people talk about this year, especially, like, it's important that candidates touch people and pay attention to them throughout the year and not just during the the election cycle.

The allegations leveled at candidate Walker coupled with a decrease in voter turnout could lead to some unusual election results in Georgia.

It's very likely that we're going to see Republicans vote for Brian Kemp, who is running a very, very good campaign, and then I, I have heard that some Republicans are probably going to leave the Senate nominee blank because maybe they just can't bring themselves to vote for Herschel Walker because of his, um, abortion allegations, but they also can't bring themselves to vote for Senator Warnock, um, so I definitely think there's going to be some vote splitting.
