Herald: No wonder Ieoh Ming Pei went on to become a great architect!
哈罗德：难怪贝律铭后来成了著名的建筑师。
Ian: I beg your pardon?
伊安：你说什么？
Herald: It says on the pamphlet that this was once the residence of Ieoh Ming Pei.
哈罗德：小册子上说，狮子林曾经是贝聿铭的家宅。
Ian: Have you seen any of his architecture works?
伊安：你见过他的建筑作品吗？
Herald: Yes, the Fragrant Hill Hotel in Beijing is designed by him. I went there not long ago. In fact, he has buildings located in various countries, such as US, France, Japan and so on. Suzhou Museum is also his work.
哈罗德：见过呀，北京的香山饭店就是他设计的，我不久前还去过。实际上，他设计的建筑分布在很多不同国家，如美国、法国、日本等等。苏州博物馆也是他设计的。
Ian: Then maybe we should make time for a visit.
伊安：那么我们或许应该抽时间去看看。
Herald: Definitely. There are not many people who have incorporated so well architectural traditions of the east and west.
哈罗德：一定要去。没有多少人能像他这样把东西方传统建筑文化很好地融合起来。
