3. Myth: Employers will respond to you right away if they're interested.
谣言三：如果老板对你感兴趣的话，马上就会联系你。
Fact: Some employers take weeks or even months to respond to candidates. Sometimes this is because they're waiting until the end of the application period before they contact any candidates, and sometimes it's because higher-priority work gets in the way. Regardless of the reasons, job seekers shouldn't jump to any conclusions if they don’t hear back right away.
真相：有些老板会等上几周甚至几个月的时间才去联系应聘者。原因可能是因为他们要等到招聘的截止日期结束后才去联系求职者，也可能是因为当时正好有其他重要的事情要处理。无论是什么原因，求职者都不应该因为没有马上得到招聘单位的答复，就得出自己的结论。
