一.describe：vt. 描述，说成，形容，画(尤指几何图形)
【词义辨析】
describe，represent，sketc，picture
describe: 侧重指描述细节，给读者或听众提供清晰的视觉图像。
represent: 指有代表性或象征性地描述或讲述。
sketch: 指快速地勾勒或概略地叙述。
picture: 着重能够栩栩如生地把事物或场景等描绘出来。
【词语用法】
1.describe有(用文字)描述的意思。例：describe a landscape（用文字来）描述风景。
【例句用法】
1.The falling star described a long curve in the sky.
流星在空中画出了一道长长的弧线。
2.The police asked me to describe exactly how it happened.
警察让我描述一下这事是怎样发生的。
二.even：adj. 平坦的，平和的，偶数的，相等的 adv. 甚至，正当，更，恰好 v. 使平坦，相等
【词语用法】
1.even常被用来表示极度的惊讶，如别人做了超乎我们想象的事。
He's even rude to the police.
他甚至对警察都很粗鲁。
2.not even则表示否定的惊讶。
He can't even write his own name.
他甚至连自己的名字都不会写。
3.even属副词，不作连接词。
Even you try again, you may not succeed.
这个句子是错误的，需在Even后加if。
4.even处于句中不同位置时，整句意思不同。
Even I have not heard of her for a year.
即使我一年没有听到她的消息了。
I have not even heard of her for a year.
我竟然一年来都没有听到她的消息。
I have not heard of her even for a year.
我没有听到她的消息竟然有一年了。
5.even so指“但是，尽管”，这个短语通常作为一个提醒，指前面所说的那个论点还不是最强的，是可以被改进的。
Even so,she will do well not to be over-nervous.
尽管如此，她会努力不让自己过于紧张。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句：She got very angry;even she told me to get out of the house.
纠正：She got very angry;she even told me to get out of the house.
翻译：她非常的生气，甚至叫我滚出这个房子。
分析：表示对某事觉得惊奇时，常将even同动词放在一起使用。
