I report on science for BBC news, and I'm here in Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates, to bring you the latest on a big meeting called COP.

It happens once a year and over 200 countries, businesses and charities all get together to talk about climate change.

Remember, climate change is caused by greenhouse gas emissions.

These emissions are released when we use fuels like oil and coal in our cars and factories.

Climate change also causes changes in our weather.

Wildfires and floods can destroy people's homes.

The countries hold lots of talks on how to agree to use less of these fuels, so there are less emissions produced.
