鲍勃：将军。
Ann: Why? I thought I would win this time!
安：怎么回事？我本来以为这局赢定了！
Bob: Oh, come on! Don't be a sore loser.
鲍勃：好了好了，不要这么输不起嘛。
Ann: I will never win the game.
安：我总是赢不了。
Bob: You play very well as a beginner! Every chess master was once a beginner. As long as you learn from mistakes, and be more concentrated, you'll get the hang of it.
鲍勃：作为初学者你已经很棒啦！就算是象棋大师也是从初学者的阶段过来的。只要你能吸取教训，下棋的时候再专心些，你就能掌握下棋的关窍。
Ann: I did make an awful blunder. I'll never make that mistake again.
安：我刚才确实一着不慎。不过我不会再犯同样的错误了。
Bob: That's right! Besides, chess is not only about winning; it's art, science, and sport.
鲍勃：没错！而且象棋重要的不仅仅是输赢，同时它也是门艺术，科学以及运动。
Ann: I guess you are right. Thank you for your advice.
安：我认为你说的有道理，多谢你的建议。
Bob: Keep at playing, and victory won't be far.
