17 deaths reported in Huidong warehouse fire
惠东仓库大火致17人死亡
State media says at least 17 people have been killed in a fire at a warehouse. The fire broke out on Thursday afternoon on the fourth floor of a small wholesale market in Huidong county of Huizhou City.
Local government said at least ten people are still missing. It took more than six hours for 150 firefighters to bring the blaze under control. The fire swept an area of nearly four thousand square meters. Over three hundred local residents have been evacuated from the area.
